Deuteronomy 7:12 (Message)
When God, your God, brings you into the country that you are about to enter and take over, He will clear out the superpowers that were there before you; the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite. Those seven nations are all bigger and stronger than you are. God, your God, will turn them over to you and you will conquer them. You must completely destroy them, offering them up as a holy destruction to God.

These evil hordes are:
the Hittites (confusion and fear, that can break us down),
the Girgashites (being alienated),
the Amorites (boasting and pride),
the Canaanites (humiliation),
the Perizzites (unprotect ion),
the Hevites (not showing spiritual life)
and the Jebusites (rejection).
God gives us the spiritual power over these evil hordes, in His Sons name. We are to seclude each one of them (weakens them if they aren't with their co-horts) and then exterminate them by dominating, claiming, declaring, and taking authority over them in the name of Jesus...on HIS authority. We allow them NO pity or alliance with us.
Application:
I love the power and authority that God gives me over what has hindered my spiritual life. Many of these 'ites' have strong-armed me in the past. I allowed it...not knowing the authority I had because Jesus lives in me. I KNOW now! And it's time for a little anniolation - in the great and powerful name of Jesus! I give them to Father God as offering - and He will deal with them. Now my job is to KEEP the way clear...and stand!
Prayer:
Thank You, Jesus, that You have won the war...I only need to CLAIM that I'm the conqueror because of what You have done for me! I can't thank You enough, Sweet Jesus! WE WIN! WE WIN! WE WIN! And BLESS YOU, JESUS!
